7	AERATOR TYPE TOILET In the toilet developed by us we have taken into account that an individual takes a mug/bottle of water to the fields to clean up. In this toilet cabin he will be doing the same, and does not suffer a cultural shock of having to use a toilet paper.

14	No Smell Toilet An aerator is provided outside the toilet cabin for providing fresh air under pressure including oxygen through the toilet cabin and into the collection chamber. The air under pressure enters the collection chamber and decomposes shit into water and solids. The air pressure direction prevents the odour from the excreta from coming into the cabin and getting into the user’s nostrils.
15	No Smell Toilet The air evaporates some of the water in the collection chamber and carries it through the pipe to the ventilator which has no moving parts and is placed on the top of the toilet cabin. The air pressure prevents the bad smell from entering into the toilet cabin from the collection chamber.
16	A little Effort in Maintenance of Toilet Since the evaporation is less than the amount of water used for washing and urine the collection chamber tends to fill up after the use by about 150 to 200 persons and needs to be emptied. The manual cleaning process takes about half an hour. However this can be speeded up by using a pump.
17	Easy maintenance Since there are few moving parts (aerator and scraper lever) there is practically no maintenance required. The operator has to clean the floor of the cabin periodically as the users will invariably bring outside dirt in the cabin with their shoes. The toilet bowl and the anti splash plate also needs to be brushed for sticky shit from time to time.

32	Attractive, User Friendly, Water Saver The attractive kiosk type urinal attracts attention from a distance announcing availability of a facility with privacy panels in the vicinity. Thus it becomes unacceptable that men use the walls or tree trunks or bushes to urinate.

35	High Capacity If the kiosk is placed over a manhole on the sewer line there is practically no maintenance other than topping up the odor sealant. There is no limit to the number of persons that can use it continuously.
36	Small Space Requirement The space required for the kiosk is about 1.65m x 1.65m on the ground with a canopy of 2.1m diameter. In case the location does not have a sewage line then the urine is collected in a 200 litre tank which is sufficient for about 600 to 700 persons after which the collection chamber will fill up and needs to be emptied.
